• Effective Zen: The path on Zen Mountain that gives any one individual the best chance of reaching the peak (realizing non-duality).

The checklist:

• What do we currently understand?

• What do we still need to confirm?

• What would be nice to know (but not critical)?

Current Understanding:

1. Reaching the peak will reveal grand vistas.

2. Significant effort will be required.

To Confirm:

1. This is indeed Zen Mountain.

2. Our chosen path leads to the peak

Nice to Know:

1. Given that this is Zen Mountain and that this route does lead to the peak, whether this particular path gives us the best chance of reaching it
